(Dan Tri) – US President Donald Trump said that the US knows `exactly` who is the new leader of the terrorist organization self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS), after the organization announced it had elected a new leader.

On October 31, the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) confirmed that leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had died, and announced that it had elected Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi as its new leader.

IS made the above announcement in the form of a recording posted on its private media channel Amaq.
